Location: Anand – The Global Capital of Dairy & Knowledge
Focus: Dairy Innovation, Educational Excellence, and Charotar Heritage
We are looking for a dynamic Video Editor to join our creative team in the heart of Anand. Your mission is to translate the rhythmic, industrious, and community-driven soul of the “Milk Capital” into high-impact visual stories. From the high-tech processing lines of the White Revolution to the green, vibrant campus life of Vidyanagar, you will be the lead architect of our visual narrative.
Key Responsibilities
- Cinematic Storytelling: Edit raw footage to capture the “Green Revolution to White Revolution” narrative, ensuring a flow that balances industrial scale with human-centric stories.
- Soundscapes of Charotar: Layer audio that blends the high-tech hum of dairy plants with local ambient sounds—the early morning clinking of milk cans and the folk-heavy beats of a Vidyanagar Navratri.
- Vibrant Color Grading: Master the “Charotar Palette”—specifically the deep greens of tobacco/banana plantations and the pristine, clinical whites of the dairy labs.
- Multi-Platform Delivery: Create high-energy content optimized for global viewers, ranging from long-form educational documentaries for IRMA/NDDB contexts to snappy Reels for local foodies.
- On-Site Collaboration: Partner with creators and videographers near the Amul Dairy campus or Vallabh Vidyanagar to turn rapid-fire briefs into polished visual assets.
- Archive Management: Maintain a library of iconic regional footage, including drone shots of the Mahi river, the historic Patel memorials in Karamsad, and kite-filled skies.
Qualifications
- Software Expertise: Professional mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Motion Graphics: Ability to create clean, modern titles using After Effects, incorporating design elements inspired by the cooperative movement and modern education.
- Visual Flair: A deep understanding of pacing—knowing when to let a rural sunset breathe and when to use fast-cut editing for a bustling student market.
- Portfolio: A showreel that demonstrates an ability to handle diverse subjects, from industrial machinery to cultural festivals.
Preferred Skills
- Regional Awareness: Familiarity with the unique visual energy of events like the National Dairy Day or the massive student-led Garba circles in Anand.
- Bilingual Context: An ear for Gujarati and English pacing to ensure subtitles and voiceovers hit the right emotional beats for local and international audiences.
- Tech Adaptability: Proficiency in using AI-enhanced editing tools to speed up workflow without sacrificing the “human” touch of the story.
Benefits
- Unique Cultural Canvas: Edit content for a city that is a global case study in success, providing you with a portfolio unlike any other in India.
- Strategic Hub: Located perfectly between Ahmedabad and Vadodara, offering a peaceful, green working environment with high-speed connectivity.
- Purpose-Led Work: Your edits will help tell the story of the farmers, students, and visionaries who drive the economic engine of Gujarat.
