We are looking for a visionary and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our creative team in the heart of Anand. You will be responsible for creating visual concepts that bridge the gap between high-tech dairy processing and the traditional warmth of the Indian farmer.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual Identity: Create and maintain consistent brand identities, including logos and typography that reflect the legacy of Amul and the professional growth of the Sardar Patel University hub.
- Marketing Collateral: Design professional brochures, annual reports, and large-scale hoardings for high-visibility zones like the Anand-Vidyanagar road and the Amul Dairy road.
- Digital & Social Assets: Develop engaging graphics for Instagram and LinkedIn that speak to both the rural producer and the urban consumer, highlighting sustainability and nutrition.
- Conceptualization: Brainstorm design ideas inspired by the lush green landscapes of Charotar, the geometric patterns of modern food packaging, and the traditional aesthetics of the regional “Vads.”
- Packaging Design: Create press-ready files for food and dairy products, ensuring compliance with global standards while maintaining a local, trustworthy appeal.
- Image Retouching: Perform high-end editing for product catalogs, specifically for the food-tech, agro-chemical, and educational sectors.
Qualifications
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or Fine Arts. (Preference for candidates who understand the agricultural and cooperative landscape of Gujarat).
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showing a range of styles—from clean, industrial minimalism to vibrant, folk-inspired community branding.
- Language: Mastery of English and Gujarati typography is essential for creating bilingual campaigns that reach rural heartlands and international markets.
Preferred Skills
- Vector Illustration: Ability to create custom icons inspired by rural life, dairy motifs, and the iconic “Amul Girl” style of storytelling.
- Packaging Expertise: Knowledge of dielines and materials for the FMCG and food processing industry.
- Motion Graphics: Basic knowledge of After Effects to create short, educational clips for agricultural or campus awareness.
