- Verification: Cross-check data against source documents to identify and correct any errors, ensuring 100% integrity—critical for the precise accounting required in cooperative models.
- Database Maintenance: Update and maintain existing records, ensuring all entries follow standardized formatting and Charotari/Gujarati naming conventions where applicable.
- Digitization: Organize and digitize physical documents from local cooperatives and small-scale industries, maintaining a systematic filing process for easy retrieval.
- Report Generation: Compile and generate basic reports using spreadsheet functions to help management track productivity in the “Charotar” region.
- Confidentiality: Adhere to strict privacy policies, particularly regarding farmer records and sensitive institutional data.
Qualifications
- Education: Higher Secondary (12th pass) or a Diploma; a degree from a local institution like Sardar Patel University is an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Excellent typing speed (minimum 35–40 WPM) with high accuracy in both English and numerical data.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting, and filtering) and Google Sheets.
- Language Proficiency: Good understanding of English; the ability to read and interpret handwritten data in Gujarati is essential for processing local vendor and rural cooperative records.
Preferred Skills
- Local Software Knowledge: Familiarity with Tally or specific Dairy Management Systems (DMS) commonly used in the Anand district.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with team members to clarify ambiguous data or missing entries from regional collection centers.
- Resilience: Ability to manage high-volume data streams during peak agricultural or academic seasons.
Benefits
- Stable Environment: Work in a professional setting within Anand’s established business areas or the vibrant academic atmosphere of Vallabh Vidyanagar.
- Growth Opportunities: Learn advanced data management and office administration in a city that is a global model for rural development.
- Prime Connectivity: Modern office spaces easily accessible via the Anand Railway Junction and the Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway.
