Organized by the Gujarat Tourism and District Administration, Anand Utsav is a cultural extravaganza usually held at the Shastri Ground.

Located just 2km from Anand, the Lambhvel Hanuman Temple (which is over 500 years old) hosts a massive annual fair.

The International Kite Festival is a skyline-transforming event in Anand. Because the city is surrounded by open “Charotar” plains, the wind conditions are ideal for competitive kite flying.

While Ahmedabad has its “Mega Garbas,” Navratri in Anand—specifically in the university town of Vallabh Vidyanagar—is famous for its youthful and high-energy atmosphere.

As the birthplace of the White Revolution, Anand celebrates National Milk Day with more fervor than perhaps anywhere else in the world. Commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Verghese Kurien, the city turns into a hub of activity.
